Our unique Kora trekking tour around the holy mountain Kailash with indescribably beautiful trekking program in Nepal, led by our experienced German tour guide Wolfgang Henzler. On the way there we walk regularly through the Karnali Valley, the way back runs as a special highlight through the abandoned Limi Valley! 

Program:
Sacred Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake are at the center of this extraordinary journey to the west of Tibet. The gigantic "nature mandala" of the summit pyramid of Mt. Kailash and the huge sapphire blue water surface of the lake at an altitude of 4500 m are described in books and reports as the "most harmonious landscape in the world". Mt. Kailash is for the followers of four religions (Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Bons) the holiest point in the world, the cosmic axis of the world. Circumnavigation ("Kora") of the mountain is the most important religious goal in the lives of many Tibetans, where four main rivers (Indus, Brahmaputra, Sutlej and Karnali) and important ones arise in the area of ​​the "Snow Jewel", as the Tibetans call the Kailash Lifelines of the South Asian region. And just under 30 km away from the sacred mountain lies the Manasarovar Lake, also sacred to Buddhists and Hindu pilgrims, who according to the faith of the pilgrims embodies the powers of light. The Limi Valley - a lonely region in the far west of Nepal on the border with Tibet - is one of the most unknown parts of Nepal. On our very exciting trekking experience the authentic life and original culture, and this in a very scenic region.

Trip:
Your unforgettable trekking and culture Tibet tour through the Himalayan mountains. After sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley, you will fly via Nepalgunj to Simikot. Here starts the joint 6-day trekking tour through the deserted and completely underdeveloped West Nepal. Over the Nara La pass with its 4535 meters height you reach the Tibetan border at Hilsa. This is where the Tibetan road network begins. By jeep we will travel via Purang to Manasarovar lake, which is extremely Buddhist and Hindu. Along the sapphire blue lake and extensive sightseeing follows the long-awaited centerpiece of the journey: the 3-day Kora trekking on the pilgrimage route around the holiest of all Mt. Kailash mountains with the highest point of the trip, the pass Dölma La (5650 m), of course clockwise. Our vehicles bring us back to Nepal and we trek back to Simikot through the Limi Valley in 9 exciting days. Back to the capital Kathmandu again by domestic flight via Nepalgunj.
