Trek Summary:

Everest View Trek is specially designed trek for those travelers who want to see Everest but with limited days. This trek takes us to Namche Bazzar which is indeed the best village of Khumjung Region mostly inhabited by Sherpa peoples. Sagarmatha National Park is also an World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO. We start our trek from Lukla, gateway to the highest mountain of the world. This trek can be done by fresh travelers too without any previous hikes and travelers must be physically fit.


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:  Pick up from airport and drop in hotel included. Accommodation in 3 star level hotel with Breakfast included. We will provide brief info about Nepal and trekkings in Nepal.

 

Day 2: City tour and Trek Preparation: If you are time bound then we can escape this day and start our Trek with trek preparation on previous day. Otherwise you can make City tour on your own (We can also provide City tour with guide but it will increase the trek package price. We will surely provide all information which sites to visit, how to reach there, Entry fees to the site and what to try in those areas). Kathmandu valley is beautiful valley with Temples, Stupas, Monasteries, Durbar Square (Palace), UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. We will make trek preparation, get introduce with the guide, Buy Trekking gears or Rent.

 

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight, hike to Phakding (2651m): Domestic flight to Lukla Airport, and then 3- 4 hrs hike to Phakding with the scenic view of Dudhkoshi River, Pine and cedar woods. Porters will join from Lukla, local Sherpa are commonly known as Ice fall Doctor due to their high assist during climbing in mountains.

Trek Hours: 4 hrs

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar(3440m): Hike of around 5-6 Hrs, through pine and cedar forests, crossing Dudhkoshi river several times through suspension bridges, stone carved with Buddhist prayers, entrance to Sagarmatha National Park will take us to the gateway of Mt, Everest, Namche Bazaar. Yaks can be seen on the way, be careful on giving them way (take the hill side not river side). Namche Bazaar welcomes you with the mighty view of Mt. Everest.

Trek Hours: 6 hrs

Day 5: Rest Day: Take good rest. Explore Namche Bazar, the biggest sherpa village. Enjoy with good coffee, internet cafes. If any trekking gear is missed then you can buy from Namche Bazaar too if you want to proceed to Base Camp or want to add more trekking area. We can do short hike to Shyangboche – Khunde – Khumjung  valley, this helps us to get used to with the altitude as High altitude sickness can occur and also we can see view of Mt. Khumbila (5,761m highest peak in Khumbu regarded as God of Khumbu, Protector of Khumbu), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m) and Thamserku (6,808m). The first hospital in Khumbu region was built at Khunde. This short trip will take us to Hillary Memorial view point from where we can see 360 degree view of Kumbu region, Thame, Ama Dablam, Pachermo peak.

Day 6: Trek to Lukla: 5-6 hrs of downhill hike, along with Dudh Koshi river, crossing suspension bridges.

Trek Hours: 6 hrs

Day 7: Return Flight to Kathmandu: Shopping for Souvenir in Kathmandu, visiting some of the sites.

 

Day 8: Departure from Kathmandu: Airport drop service included. If you want to add your holiday and do more hikes then also we will provide those services.

Note: This trek package can be fully customized, contact us and we will make Itinerary as per your available days, activities you want and what you want and to include more services, more tours. We offer Private Treks so as to provide the full time of the guide to guests and this trek can be booked upon the available time of yours, can be modified as per your taste.

 

Accommodation: Accommodation in 3 star hotel levels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. During the trek accommodation will be in tea houses/mountain lodges. All accommodation are served on twin sharing basis, single supplement will increase the price. But for the trek booked on single basis, you will be served on single supplement. During the trek during peak season it might be difficult to find room available on single basis.

Meals: Breakfast is included during the stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per itinerary. During the trek we will provide breakfast, Lunch and Dinner serving tea 2-3 times as well as fresh fruits per day as per itinerary. There will be farewell dinner as well as souvenir from us.

Physical Conditions & Experiences: Physically fit person who can walk around 6 hrs per day for longer periods are good for this trek. Our Itinerary is well planned to provide good acclimatization as well as our guide will take good care of your health. It would be better to do prior exercise before the start of trek for period of at least few weeks.

Season to trek: The best season for trekking in Nepal is Mid-September to Early December and February to May. During the second season wild flowers like rhododendron blooms and give more beautiful scene.

  • Personal Expenses such as internet, laundry, telephone, battery charging etc: Internet is available on per hour basis, the network connectivity can be good as well as poor some days.

Note: This trek package can be customized as per your need, covering all expenses from arrival upto departure. More person in a group helps to reduce the trek package as some of the cost can be distributed upon number of person. Such as guide cost remains same if you are travelling alone or with 4 other persons.

Bring represents bring that item from your country as the price for branded good will be same whether you buy from Nepal or your country. Buy represents buy in Nepal. Some items can be found cheaply in Nepal but expect it to be not as good quality as you expect. Some items are used just for trekking for such item buy in Nepal (Kathmandu/Pokhara). For renting we can rent in Kathmandu/Pokhara depending upon the trek.
