Trek Summary:

Manaslu circuit trek is also one of the best trek. This trek is similar to Annapurna Circuit trek but here are no apples and no crowds as seen during Annapurna circuit trek. The trail is rocky trail, mountain trail and need good physical conditions. The highest elevation is at Lyarke Pass 5100m. This area is rich in culture, traditions and beautiful views.


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu: Pick up from airport and drop in hotel included. Accommodation in 3 star level hotel with Breakfast included. Brief info about Nepal and trekkings in Nepal.

 

Day 2: City tour and Trek Preparation: If you are time bound then we can escape this day and start trek. Otherwise you can make City tour on your own (We can also provide City tour with guide but it will increase the trek package price. We will surely provide all information which sites to visit, how to reach there, Entry fees to the site and what to try in those areas). Kathmandu valley is beautiful valley with Temples, Stupas, Monasteries, Durbar Square (Palace), UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. We will make trek preparation, get introduce with the guide, Buy Trekking gears.

 

Day 3: Drive to Soti Khola (710m): 8-9 hrs drive from Kathmandu will take us to Soti Khola. We will take diversion towards Arughat at Dhading Besi from the Highway and drive on rough road.

 

Day 4: Trek to Machha Khola (900m): Trekking through the sal forest, crossing the river through suspension bridges, on the ridge of Budhi Gandaki river, to the rocky trails with ups and down we will reach to Machha Khola.

Day 5: Trek to Jagat (1410m): On this day we will cross back and forth through the suspension bridge. We will also make visit to hot spring  and walking on the bank of Budhi Gandaki river.

Day 6: Trek to Deng (2095m): Crossing the suspension bridge over Budhi Gandaki River, uphill trail to the flat leveled trail, Gurung Community, monasteries, chortens, prayer flags, through the forest of Rhododendron, pines and fir, waterfalls adds beauty of the trek today.

Day 7: Trek to Namrung (3390m): Flat leveled trekking path to uphill rocky ridge trek, through the lush forest and with the great view of Mt. Manaslu. Crossing the Budhi Gandaki back and forth, trekking on the bank of river. We can see Buddhist Prayer Flags, Chortens, hydro power at Namrung.

Day 8: Trek to Sama Gaon (3530m): We will trek around 7 hrs this day with the great view of Mountains, Mt. Manaslu, Gorkha Himal, Dwijen Himal, Saula Himal, Lajing Peak, Simnang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Himal Chuli, Ngadi Chuli, Glaciers, Ribung Gompa.

 

Maxm Elevation: 3530m

Trek Hours: 7 hrs

 

Day 9: Acclimatization Day: We will rest well and do short hike to Manaslu Base Camp for the great view Samdo, Ngadi Chuli, Simnang Himal, Manaslu Glacier, Ice fall, Birendra Kunda (Ice lake).

 

Day 10: Trek to Samdo (3690): Descending trail to the Budhi Gandaki river, crossing through wooden bridge, uphill trek will take us to Samdo. We can also walk to the view point to see great view of Manaslu.

 

Maxm Altitude: 3690m

Trek Hours: 4 hrs

 

Day 11: Acclimatization Day: To get our body properly acclimatize we will do short hike. We will hike towards the route connected with Tibet. From there we can see great view of mountains, herding settlements, Lophophorus.

 

Day 12: Trek to Dharamsala (4460m): We will hike around 4 hrs through the trekking downhill, uphill, with spectacular view of Mountains, Syacha Glacier. We will try to acclimatize our body properly as we will head to Larkya La Pass which would be great day of the trekking.

Day 13: Trek to Bimtang (3720m) via Larkya La (5100m): Uphill trekking trail, Moraine to frozen lakes, great view of Mountains, ascend and descend trail. It will take about 3-5 hrs to cross the Larkya La Pass. Duration depends upon the level of snow and it will be hard to cross if snow level is high.

Day 14: Trek to Tilje (2300m): Descent trail with the view of mountains, river, through the ridge on river bank we will reach to Tilje.

Day 15: Trek to Tal (1700m): Trekking trail through the beautiful villages, ridges, crossing river through suspension bridge. This trekking trail meets the Annapurna Circuit Trail at Dharapani.

 

Trek Hours: 5 hrs

 

Day 16: Trek to Syange (1080m): Crossing Marshyangdi River, trekking through the forest of Rhododendron and pine, with the great view of fields and villages.

 

Trek Hours: 6 hrs

 

Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu

 

Day 18:  Return Flight from Kathmandu

Note: This trek package can be fully customized, contact us and we will make Itinerary as per your available days, activities you want and what you want and to include more services, more tours. We offer Private Treks so as to provide the full time of the guide to guests and this trek can be booked upon the available time of yours, can be modified as per your taste.

Accommodation: Accommodation in 3 star hotel levels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. During the trek accommodation will be in tea houses/mountain lodges. All accommodation are served on twin sharing basis, single supplement will increase the price. But for the trek booked on single basis, you will be served on single supplement. During the trek during peak season it might be difficult to find room available on single basis.

Meals: Breakfast is included during the stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per itinerary. During the trek we will provide breakfast, Lunch and Dinner serving tea 2-3 times as well as fresh fruits per day as per itinerary. There will be farewell dinner as well as souvenir from us.

Physical Conditions & Experiences: Physically fit person who can walk around 6 hrs per day for longer periods are good for this trek. Our Itinerary is well planned to provide good acclimatization as well as our guide will take good care of your health. It would be better to do prior exercise before the start of trek for period of at least few weeks.

Season to trek: The best season for trekking in Nepal is Mid-September to Early December and February to May. During the second season wild flowers like rhododendron blooms and give more beautiful scene.

Note: This trek package can be customized as per your need, covering all expenses from arrival upto departure. More person in a group helps to reduce the trek package as some of the cost can be distributed upon number of person. Such as guide cost remains same if you are travelling alone or with 4 other persons.
