Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2: City tour and Trek Preparation

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight, hike to Phakding (2651m)

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar(3440m)

Day 6: Trek to Dole (4040m)

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:  Pick up from airport and drop in hotel included. Accommodation in 3 star level hotel with Breakfast included. We will provide brief info about Nepal and trekkings in Nepal.

Day 2: City tour and Trek Preparation: If you are time bound then we can escape this day and start our Trek with trek preparation on previous day. Otherwise you can make City tour on your own (We can also provide City tour with guide but it will increase the trek package price. We will surely provide all information which sites to visit, how to reach there, Entry fees to the site and what to try in those areas). Kathmandu valley is beautiful valley with Temples, Stupas, Monasteries, Durbar Square (Palace), UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. We will make trek preparation, get introduce with the guide, Buy Trekking gears or Rent.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight, hike to Phakding (2651m): Domestic flight to Lukla Airport, and then 3- 4 hrs hike to Phakding with the scenic view of Dudhkoshi River, Pine and cedar woods. Porters will join from Lukla, local Sherpa are commonly known as Ice fall Doctor due to their high assist during climbing in mountains. 

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar(3440m): Hike of around 5-6 Hrs, through pine and cedar forests, crossing Dudhkoshi river several times through suspension bridges, stone carved with Buddhist prayers, entrance to Sagarmatha National Park will take us to the gateway of Mt, Everest, Namche Bazaar. Yaks can be seen on the way, be careful on giving them way (take the hill side not river side). Namche Bazaar welcomes you with the mighty view of Mt. Everest.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day: Take good rest. Explore Namche Bazar, the biggest sherpa village. Enjoy with good coffee, internet cafes. If any trekking gear is missed then you can buy from Namche Bazaar too. We can do short hike to Shyangboche – Khunde – Khumjung  valley, this helps us to get used to with the altitude as High altitude sickness can occur and also we can see view of Mt. Khumbila (5,761m highest peak in Khumbu region regarded as God of Khumbu, Protector of Khumbu), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m) and Thamserku (6,808m). The first hospital in Khumbu region was built at Khunde. This short trip will take us to Hillary Memorial view point from where we can see 360 degree view of Kumbu region, Thame, Ama Dablam, Pachermo peak.

Day 6: Trek to Dole (4040m): Hike of around 5-6 hrs with the good views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6856m), Taboche (6542m), Cholatse (6443m), Thamserku (6608m), Khantega (6685m). We will pass through the village of Mong La (Birthplace of Lama Songe Dorje, It is believed that he bring Buddhism to Khumbu Region).  We will pass Phortse Thenga, Tongba to reach Dole. The trail continues with Pine forest, Rhododendron trees.

Day 7: Trek to Machhermo (4410m): Steep uphill climb through the forest of Pine and Rhododendron, through the beautiful village of Lhabarma, Luza we will reach to Machhermo with around total 4-5 hrs hike. We can see the good view of Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m).

Day 8: Trek to Gokyo (4750m): Hike of around 3-4 hrs with the spectacular view of Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), Mt Khantega (6685m). Hiking through the grazing and barren lands, we will pass Longponga Lake, Taujung Tosho, Dudh Pokhari.

Day 9: Gokyo Exploration: This day will be a great day with the amazing view of jade green lakes, Giant Mountains. We can make short trip to the sacred lakes of this region. We will explore the 4th lake and 5th lake during the day with the spectacular view of mountains and world’s biggest glacier, Ngozumba Glacier. We will hike around 6 hrs.

Day 10:  Trek to Gokyo Ri (5360m) to Thagnak (4750): We will make short morning trek to Gokyo Ri (5360m) from where we can see the panoramic view of mountains (Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Everest, Makalu, Cholatse,Taboche), makes closer look to them, watch the lakes, Glaciers. We will return to the hotel and hike towards Thagnak, we will hike through Ngozumba Glacier. We will hike around 5-6 hrs this day.

Day 11: Trek to Chola Pass (5363m) to Dzongla (4700m) : Difficult day of the trek as it involves hiking through the steep rock trails and glaciers travers. We will see the great views of Mountains and this day involves hike of around 7-8 hrs.

Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep (5140m) : With hike of around 5-6 hrs uphill and downhill, rocky trail, straight trail, with good view of mountains, Khumbu Glacier. Optionally we can trek upto Lobuche this day and do Lobuche to Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp trek to Gorakshep next day.

Day 13: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and back to Gorakshep: 6-7 hrs total hike during the day. Another big day of the trek, you will be in the Everest base camp, with the close view of the Highest mountain of the world. The view of Everest and some climbers ready to summit Mt. Everest will make you to forget the tiredness. Khumbu Ice fall also adds beauty on this day. 

Day 14: Trek to Pheriche(4320m):7-8 hrs hike: Early morning trek to Kala Patthar(5545m)  to view sunrise on Mt Everest and other mountains, back to Gorak Shep and then trek to Pheriche. This day involves of around 6-7 hrs hike.

Day 15: Trek to Namche: 5-6 hrs hike: Downhill, hike of around 6-7 hrs, still great view of mountains, rhododendron forest, nice natural scene are the main attraction of this day.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla: 5-6 hrs of downhill hike, along with Dudh Koshi river, crossing suspension bridges.

Day 17: Return Flight to Kathmandu: Shopping for Souvenir in Kathmandu, visiting some of the sites.

Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu: Airport drop service included. If you want to add your holiday and do more hikes then also we will provide those services.

Note: This trek package can be fully customized, contact us and we will make Itinerary as per your available days, activities you want and what you want and to include more services, more tours. We offer Private Treks so as to provide the full time of the guide to guests and this trek can be booked upon the available time of yours, can be modified as per your taste.

Accommodation:  During the trek accommodation will be in tea houses/mountain lodges. All accommodation are served on twin sharing basis, single supplement will increase the price. But for the trek booked on single basis, you will be served on single supplement. During the trek during peak season it might be difficult to find room available on single basis.

Meals: Breakfast is included during the stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per itinerary. During the trek we will provide breakfast, Lunch and Dinner serving tea 2-3 times as well as fresh fruits per day as per itinerary. There will be farewell dinner as well as souvenir from us.

Physical Conditions & Experiences: Physically fit person who can walk around 6 hrs per day for longer periods are good for this trek. Our Itinerary is well planned to provide good acclimatization as well as our guide will take good care of your health. It would be better to do prior exercise before the start of trek for period of at least few weeks.

Season to trek: The best season for trekking in Nepal is Mid-September to Early December and February to May. During the second season wild flowers like rhododendron blooms and give more beautiful scene.

Note: This trek package can be customized as per your need, covering all expenses from arrival upto departure. More person in a group helps to reduce the trek package as some of the cost can be distributed upon number of person. Such as guide cost remains same if you are travelling alone or with 4 other persons.
