A more beautiful, more challenging trek in Everest region where we trek the three high altitude Pass ( Renjo La Pass 5465m, Cho La Pass 5420m Kongma La Pass 5535m) and making circuit at Namche Bazar. This trek requires high level of fitness and takes about 18 days to complete this ultimate adventurous trekking trail. As this trek involves passing through the remote villages and getting high altitude most of the time, this trek is regarded as most challenging treks and acclimatization is well recommended and we provide acclimatization in our itinerary too. You will get ultimate trekking adventure, spectacular view of mountains, glaciers, villages, culture, and remote area lifestyle while doing this trek. We can start this trek either Namche Bazaar to Kongma La Pass first or towards Renjo La Pass. We hope it’s better to complete this trek with Kongma La Pass first as it’s easier to get proper acclimatization with this trekking trail. Our Itinerary are prepared with Kongma La Pass first.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu: Pick up from airport and drop in hotel included. Accommodation in 3 star level hotel with Breakfast included. We will provide brief info about Nepal and trekkings in Nepal.
Day 2: City tour and Trek Preparation: If you are time bound then we can escape this day and start our Trek with trek preparation on previous day. Otherwise you can make City tour on your own (We can also provide City tour with guide but it will increase the trek package price. We will surely provide all information which sites to visit, how to reach there, Entry fees to the site and what to try in those areas). Kathmandu valley is beautiful valley with Temples, Stupas, Monasteries, Durbar Square (Palace), UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. We will make trek preparation, get introduce with the guide, Buy Trekking gears or Rent.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight, hike to Phakding (2651m): Domestic flight to Lukla Airport, and then 3- 4 hrs hike to Phakding with the scenic view of Dudhkoshi River, Pine and cedar woods. Porters will join from Lukla, local Sherpa are commonly known as Ice fall Doctor due to their high assist during climbing in mountains.
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar(3440m): Hike of around 5-6 Hrs, through pine and cedar forests, crossing Dudhkoshi river several times through suspension bridges, stone carved with Buddhist prayers, entrance to Sagarmatha National Park will take us to the gateway of Mt, Everest, Namche Bazaar. Yaks can be seen on the way, be careful on giving them way (take the hill side not river side). Namche Bazaar welcomes you with the mighty view of Mt. Everest.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day: Take good rest. Explore Namche Bazar, the biggest sherpa village. Enjoy with good coffee, internet cafes. If any trekking gear is missed then you can buy from Namche Bazaar too. We can do short hike to Shyangboche – Khunde – Khumjung valley, this helps us to get used to with the altitude as High altitude sickness can occur and also we can see view of Mt. Khumbila (5,761m highest peak in Khumbu region regarded as God of Khumbu, Protector of Khumbu), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m) and Thamserku (6,808m). The first hospital in Khumbu region was built at Khunde. This short trip will take us to Hillary Memorial view point from where we can see 360 degree view of Kumbu region, Thame, Ama Dablam, Pachermo peak.
Day 6: Trek to Tengboche(3870m): Tengboche Monastery is the delight of this day, this monastery is the biggest monastery in Everest region, listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scenic view of mountains Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kwangde are glorious. Average trek of 5-6 hrs during this day.
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche(4400m): 5-6 hrs of hike involving Downhill and Uphills, through the forest of Rhododendron, birch, confer; suspension bridge over Imja khola, typical sherpa villages along with great view of mountains will take us to Dingboche.
Day 8: Acclimatization Day: Take well rest and sightseeing of villages to make your body used to with altitude. We can also make short hike to view point from where we can see great views of Mountains.
Day 9: Trek to Chukkung (4730m): With around 3 hrs hike from Dingboche on the moraine slopes, steady climb, with great views of Mountains Ama Dablam, Taboche, Cholatse we will reach to Chukkung. This village is surrounded by Mountains, Glaciers, and great landscapes. We can also make a short trip to Chukkung Ri. If we make Chukkung Ri trip this day then we can use our acclimatization day to trek to Island Peak.
Day 10: Acclimatization Day: We will use this day to acclimatize properly and will make side trip either to Chukkung RI or Island Peak or take rest at Chukkung. From Chukkung Ri (5546m), we can have panoramic view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Baruntse and Makalu. Hike to Island Peak Base Camp takes around 6 hrs, we will trek through the moraine glaciers, with great view of mountains.
Day 11: Trek to Lobuche (4940m) via Kongma La Pass (5535m): With around 3 hrs hike from Chukkung we will reach Kongma La Pass, the highest pass in this trek. We can see the great view of mountains, glaciers, frozen lakes, prayers flags. Descent from Kongma La is the hardest part of this trek. With another 3 hrs trek we will reach to Lobuche.
Day 12: Trek to Gorak Shep(5180m) and Everest Base Camp(5364m): 6-7 hrs total hike during the day: Another big day of the trek, you will be in the Everest base camp, with the close view of the Highest mountain of the world. The view of Everest and some climbers ready to summit Mt. Everest will make you to forget the tiredness. Khumbu Ice fall also adds beauty on this day.
Day 13: Trek to Kalapathhar (5545m) and Back to Lobuche (4940m): Early morning trek to Kala Patthar(5545m) to view sunrise on Mt Everest and other mountains. From Kala Patthar we can see better view of Mt. Everest than from Base Camp. We can see full fledge view of Everest. We will trek back to Gorak Shep and to Lobuche. We will trek around 7 hrs this day.
Day 14: Trek to Dzonglha (4830m): With 3-4 hrs downhills and uphills hikes with the good views of Mountains (Ama Dablam, Pheriche, Taboche, Cholatse, Lobuche), Khumbu Glacier we will reach at Dzongla. With few minutes’ walk we can also visit to the memorial place of Korean Climbers who lost their lives while climbing Taboche Peak. This trekking path is also followed when Climbing Lobuche East Peak (6119m).
Day 15: Trek to Gokyo (4800m) via Cho La Pass (5368m): We hike around 3 hrs ascent towards Cho La Pass with the spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Cho La Lake, Mt. Cholatse, Pharilapche, Kyajo Ri, Ngozumpa Glacier, prayers flag at Cho La Pass. With 4 hrs descent on the trekking trail with slopes and ice, hillsides, rockfall we will reach to Gokyo Valley.
Day 16: Rest Day at Gokyo: This day will be a great day with the amazing view of jade green lakes, Giant Mountains. We can make short trip to the sacred lakes of this region. We will explore the 4th lake and 5th lake during the day with the spectacular view of mountains and world’s biggest glacier, Ngozumba Glacier. We can also climb to Gokyo Ri.
Day 17: Trek to Lumde (4350m) via Renjo La (5345m): Another day another pass, we will trek around 7 hrs to reach Lumde through Renjo La Pass today. We will take the path towards Gokyo Ri and then trekking path will descent and again it ascent. With around 3 hrs we will reach to Renjo La Pass from here we can see the amazing views of Ngozumba Glacier, Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Taboche, Cholatse, Makalu. The trekking trail is full of Mountains view, Glaciers, Lakes view. We will descent towards Lumde and it will take around 4 hrs to reach here.
Day 18: Trek to Namche Bazaar: We will hike around 6 hrs to reach Namche Bazaar via Marlung, Tarnga, Thame with the pleasant sound of Bhote Khosi river, crossing bridges, Gompa. The trail will be descenting.
Day 19: Trek to Lukla: 5-6 hrs of downhill hike, along with Dudh Koshi river, crossing suspension bridges.
Day 20: Return Flight to Kathmandu.
Day 21: Departure from Kathmandu: Airport drop service included. If you want to add your holiday and do more hikes then also we will provide those services.

Accommodation: Accommodation in 3 star hotel levels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. During the trek accommodation will be in tea houses/mountain lodges. All accommodation are served on twin sharing basis, single supplement will increase the price. But for the trek booked on single basis, you will be served on single supplement. During the trek during peak season it might be difficult to find room available on single basis.
Meals: Breakfast is included during the stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per itinerary. During the trek we will provide breakfast, Lunch and Dinner serving tea 2-3 times as well as fresh fruits per day as per itinerary. There will be farewell dinner as well as souvenir from us.
Physical Conditions & Experiences: Physically fit person who can walk around 6 hrs per day for longer periods are good for this trek. Our Itinerary is well planned to provide good acclimatization as well as our guide will take good care of your health. It would be better to do prior exercise before the start of trek for period of at least few weeks.
Season to trek: The best season for trekking in Nepal is Mid-September to Early December and February to May. During the second season wild flowers like rhododendron blooms and give more beautiful scene.
