Trek Summary:

Covering the best three treks of Annapurna Region i.e Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poonhill and Mardi Himal Base Camp will be great value addition if you want to spend more time in the lap of Himalayas. Trekking in the trail with crowded trekking trail and the off beaten path of the region will make you feel the worth of each and every step. This trek is the most beautiful and popular trek due to the presence of Majestic Himalayas Annapurna I (8091m, world 10th highest mountain peak),  Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna II (7937m) Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m) Gangapurna (7455m) Machhaphuchre (6993m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Dhaulagiri (8167m world 7th highest mountain peak) and other peaks too; various landscapes; uphill and downhill; hiking trail in the midst of alpine forest covered with Rhododendron flowers (Rose Tree), Oak trees, Bamboo. This Annapurna Region covered by Annapurna Conservation Area Project is reach in Flora and Fauna, and the main inhabitant of this region are Gurung and Magar ethnic group, which people are highly recruited for British Arm Force, Singapore Police, Indian Military and so on. Hiking trail pass through the traditional villages.

This trek is Mid-Level difficulty, can be done by all age groups and average hike per day is around 5 to 6 hrs. Maximum altitude is 4500m at Mardi Himal Base Camp.

Itinerary :


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:  Pick up from airport and drop in hotel included. Accommodation in 3 star level hotels with Breakfast included. We will provide brief info about Nepal and trekkings in Nepal.

 

Day 2: City tour and Trek Preparation: If you are time bound then we can escape this day and drive to Pokhara or Flight (Domestic Flight to Pokhara with additional Amount) and Trek Preparation. Otherwise you can make City tour on your own (We can also provide City tour with guide but it will increase the trek package price. We will surely provide all information on which sites to visit, how to reach there, Entry fees to the site and what to try in those areas). Kathmandu valley is beautiful valley with Temples, Stupas, Monasteries, Durbar Square (Palace), UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. We will make trek preparation, get introduce with the guide, buy trekking gears and for rentals we will rent from Pokhara.

 

Day 3: Drive/ Flight to Pokhara: 7 hrs drive from Kathmandu to reach Pokhara. Transportation in Tourist Bus. For Fligt Trek Package price will slightly increase, we make this package including Tourist Bus service. If anything is missing then we can buy from Pokhara. Final Trek Preparation and sightseeing around Lakeside, Phewa Lake. Accommodation in 3 star level Hotel.

 

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ulleri (2070m): Start of Trekking

Drive (1hrs) to Nayapul after breakfast in Pokhara, from here hike starts. After 3hrs of walk we will reach Tikhedunga, we will have lunch here and will take short rest. Again we will have to take 3hrs uphill hike, steep stoned paved staircase to reach our overnight spot Ulleri.

Maximum Altitude: 2070 m Ulleri

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m):

We start our 2nd day of trek with breathtaking views of himalays. Today trail will be easier, we will hike passing through Rhododendron and oak forest. After walking of 2.5hrs we will reach Nangethati, we will have our lunch and will take short rest. After the rest we will resume our hike to reach Ghorepani, it will take about 1hrs to reach here. Dinner and Overnight in Ghorepani.

Maximum Altitude:  2860 m Ghorepani

Day 6: Trek to Poonhill (3210m):  

Wake up around 5 am to catch the sunrise view from Poonhill. After 1.5hrs hike we will reach poonhill (Bingo! Destination reached), from here we can see the Spectacular view of Annapurna range. We will spend few hrs in Poonhill, and have breakfast here. After the breakfast we will start our return journey. With 2.5hrs hike we will reach Banthati, we will have lunch here. After the lunch and short rest we will hike for 2 to reach our overnight and dinner spot Tadapani.

Day 7: Tadapani – Chommrong – Sinuwa: Hike starts after breakfast at Tadapani, we will hike more uphill in this day. We will take Annapurna route. Mountains look closer, flora and fauna on the trail helps to ease the pain of trek. Dinner and Overnight at Sinuwa.

 

Overnight Altitude: 2250m Sinuwa

Hiking Hours: 6hrs

 

Day 8: Sinuwa – Bamboo – Dovan – Himalaya: Breakfast at Sinuwa. With 2hrs hike from here, we will reach Bamboo. 1hrs hike from Bamboo takes us to Dovan, where we will have our Lunch and take short rest. After short rest, hike resumes to Himalaya, it will take around 2hrs to reach here.  We will mostly hike in midst of forest this day. Dinner and Overnight at Himalaya.

 

Overnight Altitude: 3500m Himalaya

Hiking Hours: 5hrs

 

Day 9: Himalaya – Deurali – Machhaphuchre Base Camp – Annapurna Base Camp: Breakfast at Himalaya. Around 2hrs hike from Himalaya, we will reach Deurali. With 2hrs hike from Deurali we will reach Machhaphuchre Base Camp where we will have our Lunch and short excursion of Machhapuchre base camp. The sunrise view from here is not better than Annapurna Base Camp, so we will hike for 2hrs from here to reach ABC. Dinner and Overnight at ABC.

Overnight Altitutde: 4130m

Hiking Hours: 6hrs

 

Day 10: ABC – Deurali – Bamboo: Big day of Trek, wake up in early morning so as to watch the breathtaking sunrise view over mountains. We will have our breakfast at ABC and start to descent. With 3hrs hike we will reach Deurali and have our Lunch here. After short rest hike resumes to Bamboo. It will take around 3hrs to reach here. Dinner and Overnight at Bamboo.

 

Hiking Hours: 6hrs

Overnight Altitude: 2310m

 

Day 11: Bamboo – Sinuwa – Jhinu Danda: Breakfast at Bamboo. 2hrs hike to Sinuwa and Lunch. After short rest at Sinuwa, 3hrs hike to reach Jhinu Danda. It’s better not to miss the hot spring, so we will stay at Jhinu Danda and have dinner here.

 

Hiking Hours: 5hrs

Overnight Altitude: 1730m

Day 12: Jhinu Danda – Landruk: Breakfast at Jhinu Danda. 3hrs hike from Jhinu Danda to reach landruk, taking our way towards Mardi Himal Base Camp. We will do short hike and rest.

Hiking Hours: 3hrs

Overnight Altitude: 1565m

Day 13: Landruk – Forest Camp/Rest Camp: Hiking through the forest and reaching our destination to Forest Camp. This place is also known as Kokar and less habited area. We can also stay at rest camp which for the great morning views.

 

Hiking Hours: 3 hrs

Overnight Altitude: 2580m

 

Day 14: Rest Camp – Low Camp – Badal Danda – High Camp: Another Day in wilderness, hiking through the Rhododendron forests, closer view to mountains will ease the pain. We will start our hike to Low Camp after breakfast at Rest Camp. 1 hours hike from Rest Camp takes us to Low Camp. With 45 minutes hike from Low Camp we will reach Bandal Danda, we will have Lunch and take short rest. With 2 hours hike we will reach High Camp. We will have our dinner and overnight at High Camp.

Overnight Altitude: 3550m

Average Hike: 4 Hours

 

Day 15: High Camp – Mardi Himal Base Camp – Bandal Danda: Waking up in early morning and 3hrs hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp. We will spend few minutes here for watching spectacular Mountain View and start our return hike to High Camp. It’s not good to spend more time in Base Camp as it can bring altitude sickness rest. We will eat packed food during the way as there is no place to eat. With 2hrs hike we will reach high camp, will have lunch here and take short rest. With 1hrs hike we will reach Bandal Danda, Dinner and Overnight here.

 

Maximum Altitude: 4500m: Mardi Himal Base Camp

Average Hike: 6 Hours

 

Day 16: Bandal Danda – Low Camp – Kalimati:  Hiking through the midst of green forest, beautiful villages, amazing landscapes, brooks involves in this day. We will hike to Kalimati for the great morning view.

 

Average Hike: 6 Hours

 

Day 17: Kalimati – Astam: With the morning panoramic view of mountains and valley we will descend and ascend. We will hike around 5 hrs. Astam is an beautiful village and the views of Himalayas are great.

Average Hike: 5 hrs

Day 18: Astam – Pokhara: We can hike or take bus/ jeep to Pokhara.

Day 19: Rest Day in Pokhara: Explore the beauty of Pokhara, you can also do adventure activities like Paragliding, Zip Flyer, Bungee Jump, Boating in Phewa Lake. We provide booking for these services too.

 

Day 20: Drive/Flight to Kathmandu: Shopping for Souvenir in Kathmandu, visiting some of the sites.

 

Day 21: Departure from Kathmandu: Airport drop service included. If you want to add your holiday and do more hikes then also we will provide those services.
